The new WEB based application provides authorized users at any internet equipped PC to access a remote database of FM assignments and allocations for extensive search capabilities. The package is a first step in a program to completely automate the process of preparing the technical information required to develop new FM undertakings in Canada. The final product will allow an authorized user to: Search the database for FM assignments and allocations by user defined criteria. Seek out new broadcasting opportunities by automated "drop-in" assessment Evaluate coverage and population statistics in real-time The application is made possible by advances in WEB based IT technologies including DBMS and server side scripting.
